Chiller Times, Hotter Weather
As we moved into June, we finally were able to have a replacement for the Student Institute of Campus Ministry. As a ministry, we put on the Student Leadership Training or SLT for the students who still wanted an opportunity to grow their skills as student leaders. Even though we put together the event on short notice, and our venue was under renovation, I would say it went on very well. The students in the discussion group I ran really enjoyed it and I was really happy with what they shared they were learning. All in all I think it was a great way to start our month.
Not much else eventful happened this month in terms of ministry. We are in the summer season, so many of the students in our ministry have gone how/away for the next few months, but that is not to say we aren't doing anything. We are having weekly "Summer FOCUS" meetings streamed on Thursdays for students to tune in to, and our campus is watching it together on a zoom call, so there is still a small semblance of community.
Other than this, I went to Colorado with some of my co-ministers. It was a great way to refresh and grow in my relationship with these guys. We went to Breckenridge and hiked there and in the surrounding area. Here are some of the pictures from that trip:

The trip was fantastic and really refreshed me to get back to work on preparing for August and to continue my fundraising. I am grateful for all of you who have been supporting me so far.
