Time to Reset

 As the school year wrapped and the students mostly returned home, my focus has switched to preparing for the next school year. Right now, I am fundraising to reach our staff minimum, and maybe beyond if it seems possible, and in that I ask that you all be praying for me as I reach out and communicate the good news of what God is doing at UT Dallas. 

As for what is going on with the students still here, we have started our Summer FOCUS meetings. Once again, care church has been kind enough to host us for free every Thursday night through the summer, so that all of our students at all of our campuses can come together and worship. This summer, we are teaching through the topics that are in our revamped Focus on Jesus bible study. The goal of this study is twofold, one to help people grow in being a student of the word, and two to help people grow closer to God together. The topics include things like "Life in the Body", "Discipleship", "Faith & Obedience", and a lot ore. If you are interested in checking out the study, we have an old version of it on our website, and by the end of the summer, we will have the updated one released. One last thing to report on, another sweet man was added to the kingdom of God. I recently had the honor of baptizing my friend Angeloh. I have been doing the FOCUS on Jesus study with him, that I mentioned above, this school year, and I have seen God doing a lot of work in his life. Angeloh has been doing a lot of responding the the spirit this school year, and has really answered God's call to change his life.
